This design was inspired by a customer (thanks Emily L!). Pairing mother of pearl with Swarovski crystals can often be found in Japanese jewelry designs (they're normally sold next to tiny origami crane earrings, lol). I thought it was pretty, and wanted to re-create the look. The pink glass beads were designed to look like sakura petals drifting in the wind, so they all have different chain lengths.

Introducing... the Cherry Blossom Collection ( 桜 // 櫻花) ! While playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, I noticed that most of the furniture I liked came from their 'Cherry Blossom' collection. It's a seasonal spring event, based off Japan's sakura viewing pastime. I felt inspired to create sakura-themed jewelry in time for the in-game event (lol), typically in April.
