14k gold-filled upgrade available, add this to your cart for tarnish-free jewelry that you can wear daily.
100% 14k gold-filled items
Your item can withstand water and daily wear. However, many jewelry professionals still recommend taking off your gold-filled jewelry during showers etc. for best longevity. In rare cases of tarnishing (normally due to a chemical reaction), please consider buying a silver jewelry cleaner e.g. Hagerty Silver Cleaner ($13). Do not soak the metal; just 'dip' it into the solution for 5 - 10 seconds. Then rinse your item with water. It's also a safe cleaner for 925 silver.

Gold-plated items
1. Wear with care
Each piece is designed and crafted to be sturdy. However, some materials are more prone to breaking or chipping than others:
- Natural gemstones
- Czech glass beads
- Acrylic butterflies
- Delicate chain or tiny jump rings
2. Cleaning
If you need to clean a piece:
A) Use a cotton ball dipped in isopropyl alcohol and wipe the piece gently. You can find isopropyl alcohol at most pharmacies, e.g. Walgreen / CVS for $2 - 5.
B) Use a damp cloth dipped in water/mild soap, and wipe it gently. These are also safe options.
3. Keep your jewellery away from harsh sunlight
When not wearing your jewellery, store it in a cool place. Too much sun exposure causes color fading in many materials (including some metals).
4. Chemicals and Lotions
Please avoid applying harsh chemicals / lotions on the part of skin where you're going to wear the jewellery. The chemical reaction between the metal and the chemical may cause the gold-plating to wear off.
5. Most metals will tarnish over time.
This is natural because most of it is gold-plated or vermeil. I've noticed plating fading after one year of regular wear, but your results may differ. Some chains are very high quality and haven't tarnished in years. Again, it really depends on the piece.
Refunds & Repairs:
Refunds allowed for items within 30 days of purchase. Picture(s) are required, please email me.
Due to the nature of gold-plated metal, many parts are not able to be repaired. Choosing compensation outside of a refund, such as:
- Replacement jewelry
- Repairing part or all of the jewelry
- Repairing jewelry from another artist/retailer/shop
is subject to my discretion, on a case by case basis. Please be prepared to pay partial or full cost in such situations (past 30 days). Thank you.
